Meet The Teacher
Hi! I’m Tara Gollihue, the owner and teacher behind Musical Adventures Piano Studio. I’ve enjoyed playing the piano for almost 20 years, along with many other musical endeavors ranging from musicals to choirs to orchestras. Music has always been a major part of my life, and it brings me so much joy to share the wonderful world of music with others.
My teaching style is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I believe music lessons should be both educational and enjoyable. My goal is to help students build strong foundational skills while also developing a love for music that lasts a lifetime. I’m also passionate about creating a positive and encouraging space where students feel motivated and proud of their progress.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy travelling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my husband, Jacob. Our favorite adventure so far was a two-month road trip across the western United States to visit 22 states and 35 national parks!
The mission of Musical Adventures is to make learning music a joyful and exciting journey, helping each student build lifelong musical skills in a supportive environment.
How It Works

We’ll have a brief phone call so I can learn more about the student and their goals, and answer any questions you may have before getting started!

After our introductory call, you’ll choose your weekly lesson time from the available options, and I’ll reserve your time while you complete Step 3.

You’ll complete an enrollment form and set up monthly billing through our secure online system. There is a $40 enrollment fee that includes the cost of your first lesson books.

Lessons begin! Students are guided through a structured and engaging curriculum tailored to their age, goals, and experience.
